I was experimenting with Photoshop. You can choose the better photo (probably the original).
*Sorry, I haven't been updating a lot. I've been busy with state testing and studying for the AP tests coming up. I haven't been taking many pictures either, but I'm not letting this photoblog down!

Portion of Evolution

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I decided to change the title. In the front, you see a 5-year old and in the back, you see a 13-year old. It's like a photo version of an Evolution chart, except this one has to do with a boy's age.

No Parking

I don't recall seeing one of these signs before in the past ten years of living in my current residence. They were everywhere in my neighborhood.

Paint the Sky

Guess I'm still posting sky pictures. The sky looks like a painting.

*This year's Valentine's Day has been a really bad one, and no, it does not have anything to do with love and Valentines and mushy gushy stuff.
**Two out of two friends chose this photo to be submitted to PhotoFriday (I submitted at 9:59PM Pacific Time)!

Lift That Spirit

I like this picture. That's all. I think I'll put up a non-Sky picture tomorrow.

Hide and Seek

It kind of looks like the painting. The camera was under the night setting. Since pictures seem to turn out blurry when taken in the dark, this photo came out looking...odd but I like it. You can see the moon peeking out. This was taken during the Mid-Autumn Festival (watching for the full moon to come out).

*My sky pictures aren't that impressive-looking.

Please Just Smile...

My brother does not know how to smile. Whenever my family or I try to take a picture of him, he either makes a weird face or doesn't smile (maybe he wants to hide his braces). He looks really...unattractive (I'm being nice) in this picture but I kind of like how this photo turned out, the background all blurry and the focus is on him. This was taken by me in early January at Mount Baldy while going down the ski lift.

**I really want a professional camera.

Weird Winter Weather

Yet another blurry photo. I took this while calling a friend so I had a cell phone in one hand and a camera in the other. After a FREEZING night in Hacienda Heights, I looked out my window in the morning and noticed some white substance on the papayas on the papaya tree. I am not sure if it's ice. My brother says it's milk from the papayas. No, I did not touch it.

*Goals for my blog:
-make some finishing touches to the blog's background and put it up
-bring some more visitors to my blog by...
-participating in online photo contests (that's how I found out about a lot of great photo blogs like Eyespeak and Sydney Webcam)

18 Ft.?

I know, it's been a while since the last post, but here I am. Everything sucked today. Nothing went my way and in the end, I was bored. So, I took a walk around my neighborhood. Since my years in elementary to the end of middle school, I have walked pass these two palm tree trunks after school. One trunk has 1 spray painted on it. The other has 8 on it. Who did marked these poor, innocent trees?

*I am planning to put up a background...as soon as I figure out how it should look like. Do you guys like Mondrian's paintings? :)
**My blog feels lonely without comments. :( Yah know...anyone can comment! It's true!

About Me

My photo
College student/ Beatles enthusiast in San Diego who was raised by a low income, super Asian family in Los Angeles suburbia. I reach for the stars (those Loubs on the top shelf) and crash back down to Earth. It's hard being money conscious and fashion obsessed at the same time.
